Mermaid Hunter characters fall into 3 basic categories:
Mermaids: Only the best swimmers and breath holders will become Mermaids. That's because swimming with your legs confined in a mermaid tail is very physical and taxing. In Mermaid Hunter, the mermaid characters will be (for the most part) gentle, happy and non-violent - think dolphins.
Sirens: Sirens, however, are very different from their Mermaid sisters. Like mermaids, they are at their core - water creatures) BUT they have legs and are not bound to the water. A Siren could be your co-worker or boss and you'd never even know it. More importantly, they are tortured souls! Cursed by the Greek Goddess Hera, they possess inner demons that make them do unspeakable things.
Humans: Mermaid Hunter will be filmed in and around Key West, Florida... where humans live, work and interact with the Mermaids and Sirens.

Mermaid Hunter is written for Adults and will be "R" rated. All mermaids will be portrayed topless... and there will be plenty of adult themes throughout. To play a major character in Mermaid Hunter you must be at least 18 years old.

The Sirens
The Queen Siren
The Sirens "curse" has the Queen by the throat and won't let go. Pray for all
those falling in love with the most beautiful sea-creature living in Key West.
The High Priestess
The colony is under siege from outside forces - and from within. So far, her
sage advice and guidance has steered colony clear from discovery and danger. But
her greatest challenge has yet to surface.
Siren Calypso
The girl was born bad. And as she has grown... So has her badness!
Siren Laura
Siren Laura is a high school student who wants to fit in to the human world so
much she sometimes forgets she's a siren. And that has its consequences.
Siren Jennifer
Modeling Agencies are after the ultra-beautiful Jennifer. They say she can have
it all. in New York! The Queen says, no way! What will she do?
Siren Cirri
When a very young siren announces her desire to become a mermaid, voices become
hushed. Dare they tell her that more than half of the young girls who attempt
the transformation ritual are never seen again?

Mermaid Turin
The Key West colony of Si-mers is responsible for the security and secrecy of
the largest collection of Spanish sunken treasure. Mermaid Turin is the
gatekeeper to this immense fortune. But, gold is missing and the annual visual
inspection by the Queen Mermaid and the Queen Siren is scheduled. It's a race
against time to discover the evil behind the theft.
The Humans
The Mermaid Hunter
For most of his life he was unaware that his mother was a siren. But now that he
knows he has siren blood running through his veins, he's come to Key West to
fulfill his destiny. The Hunter is both loved and hated by the colony of Si-Mers,
and that causes strange and dangerous events at every turn.
The Bounty Hunter
Dead Si-Mers are worth tens of thousands of dollars in the Orient. A live one is
worth ten times as much! Uncaring and cruel, this man skin-dives with a spear
gun and walks the street with a filet knife.
The Navy Ops Lieutenant
Homeland Security needs a squad of super-secret underwater female
divers/soldiers. And he's just the man to create one. Even if he has to
brainwash and "condition" the creatures into serving him.
The Investigative Reporter
Enough with the rumors. It's time to find out once and for all if mermaids and
sirens really do exist in Key West. But will he live to write the story.
The Marine Biologist
A trusted friend of the Mermaid Hunter with a love of the sea equal to that of a
mermaid. Secretly she combines mermaid DNA with her own DNA. Will it produce her
dream effect? For better or worse, she'll find out first hand.
The Lawyer/Politician
The most hated man in Key West, Florida. His hidden agenda includes the Si-Mers
and all their secrets.
The Speech Pathologist
Dr. Sharon Michaels is convinced she can use the mermaid's unique speech
patterns and their apparent ESP powers to break the language barrier between
dolphins and humans. Who could foresee that her efforts could possibly change
the course of history and, indeed, even put mankind on the brink of extinction?
The Treasure Hunter
All the signs pointed to sunken treasure. All his work was about to pay off.
Then everything went haywire. The treasure hunter and the colony of Si-mers are
on a collision course at sea.
The Police Detective
Every year Key West has several unexplainable drowning. In years past the
victims were usually homeless vagrants; but now several high profile cases has
forced the police chief to appoint a sly detective with some questionable
methods to solve this ongoing mystery.
The High School Student
Against everyone's warning Sara befriends a shy classmate who is a known Siren.
As their friendship grows so does Sara's understanding of human nature and the
nature of a Siren... For better or worse her loyalty, and her sanity, will be
tested - to the max!
